Are you a young economics professional, student or recent graduate interested in hearing about potential career paths from experienced economics professionals? Are you interested in meeting other young economics professionals, students and recent graduates? The Ottawa Economics Association (OEA), with funding support from the Canadian Association for Business Economics (CABE), is pleased to invite you to a Pub Night on June 1, 2017. Our Pub Night will give you an opportunity to hear about potential career options from three economics professionals, and meet and mingle with other economics students, graduates and professionals while enjoying some drinks and snacks.
Date: Thursday, June 1, 2017
Time: 5:30pm – 7:30pm
Location: Lieutenant’s Pump (361 Elgin St, Ottawa), Gallery Room
Cost: There is no charge for this event.
Some drinks and snacks will be provided.
This event is open to OEA members, young professionals (with 5 years or less of experience), students and recent graduates under the age of 30.
Registration is necessary as space is limited. Please register using the RSVP function below by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Registration may close earlier should the event reach capacity.
5:30pm-5:50pm: Registration and Networking
5:50pm-6:00pm: Opening Remarks
6:00pm-6:30pm: Short Presentations by 3 Economics Professionals
Note: This event is open to OEA members, young professionals (with 5 years or less of experience), students and recent graduates under the age of 30. If the RSVP form does not appear, the event has reached capacity. However, you may wish to check back as spots may become available in case of cancellations.
