About the Topic:

On November 28th, the Bank of Canada will release its semi-annual Financial System Review (FSR), examining selected issues of relevance to the Canadian and global financial systems.  It is one avenue through which the Bank of Canada seeks to contribute to the longer-term resiliency of the Canadian financial system.   This workshop will provide you with a detailed overview of the report.

The presentation will begin moments after the report is released, and as such will be very timely.

Joshua Slive is a Senior Policy Advisor in the Strategic Leadership & Support Division of the Financial Stability Department. He has conducted research and worked on domestic and international policy measures related to the reform of OTC derivatives markets.  His research also focuses on market structure and liquidity on trading platforms.  Before joining the Bank of Canada, Joshua was on the Finance faculty at the HEC Montreal business school.
