Assessing Job Quality in Canada: A Multidimensional Approach
|
The quality of jobs is, and should be, a major policy concern. Jobs have many attributes such as income and benefits, career prospects, work intensity, working-time quality, skills and discretion, and social environment. TABE is very grateful that Wen-Hao Chen, from Statistics Canada, is coming to Toronto to present the results of his in-depth analysis of the sectoral and demographic characteristics of jobs using the 2016 General Social Survey.
