The Future of the Automotive Industry in Canada

Recent announcements of auto plant shutdowns and cutbacks have raised questions about the future of the auto industry in Canada. Dennis Desrosiers, arguably the leading expert on the automotive industry has agreed to speak to TABE. After founding his own firm in 1985, Dennis has produced a wealth of analysis and insights that we all value. Dennis’s presentation will be preceded by the Annual General Meeting of the Toronto Association for Business and Economics. One of the agenda items at the AGM is to elect a Board of Directors for 2019/2020. The proposed slate for the coming year is attached with this notice. Any TABE member may propose a complete alternative slate of candidates for the Board. The TABE office will also send out a notice of other proposed slates if received prior to June 1, 2020. Alternative slates also may be proposed at the time of the AGM.
