Dr. Jack Mintz, currently President’s Fellow at the University of Calgary School of Public Policy and the School’s founding Director, is the 2019 recipient of the Ottawa Economics Association Award of Distinction.
Jack has had a distinguished and impactful career in both academia and as a past President of the CD Howe Institute. He is probably best known for his work on tax policy and fiscal policy, and has been a frequent advisor to the federal government and other governments. He is also a strong supporter of the OEA and has spoken at many of our events over the years.
