About our speakers

Peter Harrison is Vice President, Canada with CPCS. He has led more than 100 consulting assignments in the transportation and power sectors in Canada. An economist by training, Peter has extensive experience in economics, policy, governance, regulation and strategy. He has worked with private and public sector clients across Canada and has designed and led a wide range of economic impact and benefit-cost analysis projects.

Shiva Hakak is Vice President with Valuation, Modelling and Economic Advisory with Ernst & Young. She has over a decade of experience in leading economic consulting projects for a wide range of public and private sector clients and organizations across Canada. Shiva has designed and led numerous economic impact assessment and cost-benefit analysis projects in a wide range of sectors from transportation, infrastructure, mining, utilities, and construction, to life sciences, technology, education, and tourism.
